YOU ARE A PRIEST FOREVER

You are a priest; A priest forever. A priest like Melchizedek of old. On earth you are a priest. In heaven, you will remain a priest. There shall be no end to your priestly ministry.
Rev. Fr. Peter Nsa taking Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth

It is exactly a year since you were ordained a Catholic Priest for the Diocese of Buffalo, New York, United States of America by Most. Rev. Richard Malone Th.D, your Bishop, your spiritual father.

For one year, you have been offering sacrifices of the Holy Mass. For one, you have forgiven the sins of many on behalf, your Master, Jesus Christ, the great high priest. I am sure you have retained no sins. No, not you! For you are merciful just as your heavenly father is merciful.

For one year, you have forsaken the pleasures of the world. For one year, you have lived and loved the sheeps entrusted into your care.

For one year, you have proclaimed the goodnews; preach on; in season and out of season. Preach out to the ends of the earth. Do not only preach the word, live it. Let your light shine on and out. Let it shine brighter and brighter. Let men see your light and may it direct men to Christ.

You are that STAR that was meant for another firmament. May the sky above you be white. May the grasses beneath your feet be green. May the path before you lead you to righteousness. No evil shall come near you for you bear the mark of Christ.

For one year, you have kept the faith. You have kept your friends too. You do not ignore calls. You still call, connect and celebrate classmates. You have sustained friendship. You have deepened cordiality. And so, you have our backs anyday, anytime.

Remain our good Ambassador. Live on, lead on, love on...

Happy one year priestly anniversary, Rev. Fr. Peter Nsa Bassey a.k.a....
