Nsan, Ntunkae. Dr. Mrs. Mary-Theresa Ikwen, Barr. Michael Cobham and
Mrs. Lawrencia Ita are ready to be honoured with an impeccable award in
the 'Lifetime Achievement' category. This is to appreciate them for
their individual accomplishments and immense contributions to the well
being of the society through their respective endeavours, which will
soon be published, all through the years.
Also set to be honoured is a dedicated, diligent and dutiful Journalist, Mr. George Odok of the News Agency of Nigeria in the 'Journalist of the year' category.
In the 'Young Achievers/Professional' category, Engr. Dr. Samuel Oliver Effiom, who emerged as the youngest Engineering Ph.D holder in Cross River State at 28 years of age, will not only be poured encomiums but will be handed an award to serve as a perpetual memento and in kind admiration and encouragement for his productivity & progressive feats in the academic and engineering professions. Also in this category, Ms. Glory Bassey, a young, productive & promising lecturer of the University of Calabar will be greatly honoured.
To encourage fidelity and absolute love in the marriage institution, Mr. & Mrs. Kerian Obo, who have lived, loved & lasted together as married couple for over a decade and remain a pair of admiration by younger couples were nominated and will mount the stage to be honoured as the 'Couple of the year.'
The event which will be chaired by Mr. & Mrs. John Abang and will have Engr. & Mrs. Livinus Unyeshifetang as special guests of honour, will play host to important dignatries, members of the fourth estate of the realm as well as the academia.
