Pope
Francis has been tested negative for the novel coronavirus.
The
octogenarian has cancelled some of his engagements since after appearing to be
suffering from a cold during ash Wednesday outing.
The
Pope, it was reported, had a "cough, a bit of temperature, sore throat,
shivers. His doctors stepped in immediately for appropriate checks. He was also
subjected to a swab test to see if it was corona virus but the outcome was negative.
