The court of Appeal(Abuja Division) has declared former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke as the rightful presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party
The appellate court yesterday set aside the judgement of the Federal High Court which had declared former Information Minister, Prof. Jerry Gana as the party's presidential candidate.
The 3 man panel led by Justice Abdul Aboki held that the election of Duke as the party's candidate was in line with section 222 of the electoral act.
