The apex sociocultural organization that works for the interest of the Igbo in and outside the country
has endorsed the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar.
Announcing the decision yesterday, the President General of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo,John Nwodo said the "Ime Obi" which is the highest decision making council of the group took the decision in Enugu after its meeting.
According to the Ohaneze, the nomination of their son, Peter Obi as the Vice Presidential candidate has given Ndigbo an opportunity for inclusitivity and urged Ndigbo to seize the moment.
