Never again should humanity be so debased.
Never again should humanity be so desecrated.
Never again should humanity be so decimated.
Rwandans are mourning and will mourn for 100
days in kind memory of countrymen, women and
children who were killed twenty-five years ago,
precisely, in 1994.
Each time I read about it, I get scared of man. Over
800,000 people were killed. What a pogrom! According
to historical sources, most of those who died were minority
Tutsis and moderate Hutus, killed by Hutu extremists.
The remembrance flame is up and will so be for 100 days
in memory of the deceased. May their souls continue to rest
in peace. Amen.
To the widows, orphans and all those who are alive to bear the losses,
May they find comfort in this memorial in honour of their departed loved
ones.
